Genetic testing can help unlock the mysteries of what you're made of. Getting your results is just the start. It’s what you do with those results that truly matters. And that’s where it might get confusing.

At Genomic Life, we know that unless you’re a genetics expert, you might have a hard time understanding your genetic results. Thankfully, you don’t have to do that alone. We’re here with you.

Genomic Life will help guide you on your journey. Often, the first step of that journey is to help you share your results and clinical action plan with a doctor or schedule an appointment with a Genetic Counselor – all included in your membership.

It’s important to understand the impact of your genetic results because they can identify risks, from chronic conditions to cancer. And while those can be scary, we’re here to help you navigate through all of it.

What do you do with your results once you have them? That’s as simple as following a three-step process:

Step 1: Connect with a Genetic Counselor who will review your results and clinical action plan.

Step 2: Share the results with your doctor to ensure a personalized approach to your health.

Step 3: Meet with your doctor to understand how your results and Clinical Action Plan will be used in care.

Your Clinical Action Plan is created by a Genetic Counselor and personalized based on the your unique genetic results. This personalization helps make care recommendations more effective.

If your results show a risk for cancer or other condition, your membership allows you to schedule an appointment with a Personal Navigator and Board-certified genetic counselors, offering personalized support for you and your healthcare team — ensuring you receive comprehensive care.

While the Clinical Action Plan is insightful, it will be far more beneficial for your health when shared and used by your doctor to inform your care.
